The Southwark Safeguarding Boards (Adults and Children) seek to ensure that all Safeguarding interventions are conducted within the requirements of current Data Protection legislation.
The Boards are currently working to develop a new Information Sharing Protocol (ISP) that is compliant with existing UK legislation as well as satisfying the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into force in May 2018.
Until such time as the new Protocol is in place, the Boards are glad to register partners and associated organisations through the existing mechanism of the Safer Southwark Partnership (SSP) ISP - as an interim measure.
The SSP was subsumed into the Southwark Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) in March 2017.
The SSP Protocol, the guidelines document and the list of current signatories are available for download on this page. The Authorised Signatory Form is on the last page of the Protocol document.
Partners are invited to register their interest by completing the form and sending a scanned copy to the Partnership at SSCB@southwark.gov.uk . Please include the term "ISP" in the subject line of your email.
